Fused Magnesia Ramming Material Fired Refractory

Fused magnesia is superior to dead burned magnesia in strength, abrasion resistance and chemical stability. Major applications are in refractory and electrical insulating markets. Producers of fused magnesia commonly fall into one of two categories: those producing refractory grades and those producing electrical grades. Few producers serve both markets on a mainstream basis.

Main characteristics of fused magnesia products: Fused magnesia products are characterized by complete structure, compact structure, high melting point (2800 ℃), stable chemical performance, compression strength, insulation performance is strong, erosion resistance, corrosion resistance, is metallurgy, building materials, light industry, lining and the loose material, the important raw materials for steel, cement, glass, non-ferrous metal smelting and other industries indispensable important refractory material. 

The main uses of fused magnesia: fused magnesia can be used as auxiliary refractory materials such as injection filler, ramming material and special refractory bricks such as flow steel mouth brick, magnesia brick, magnesia chrome brick, etc. It can also be used as refractory lining in vacuum and non-vacuum induction furnace and electric arc furnace. It is the ideal raw material for making Magnesium Oxide crucible, furnace liner and various high temperature bushing.
